Student: Ahmed Ali Khalfan Al-Kendi
University: University of Sydney
Course: Master of Education (TESOL)
Student profile:
I have graduated from Sohar College of Applied Sciences with a bachelor’s degree in Education (English Teaching). Then I was awarded a full scholarship from the Ministry of Higher Education to do my Masters in TESOL abroad. I have chosen Australia to pursue this degree because I like this peaceful, multicultural country where you can have teachers and friends from all over the world. It is a valuable chance to share and be aware of a wide range of cultural experiences.
I feel proud to represent my beloved country with sincere love and dedication, and I like to master what I do. Loving one’s own country and mastering one’s own work are great Islamic virtues. Inspired by this, I believe in hard work, faithfulness, non-stop determination and creativity. If you truly believe in success, nothing is impossible. “Where there is a will there is a way”.
