The General Consulate of the Sultanate of Oman in Australia has organized an Iftar evening for the Omani Students at Laila Reception
in Sydney Road, Melbourne

 Around 75 male and female students have attended the gathering in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Hamed al Hajri, the Consul General.

The evening began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, and then at the call of the Maghrib prayer, the audience had their breakfast followed by the prayer. After that, the Consul General Mr. Hamed al Hajri took the podium to welcome all the students who have attended and congratulating them for the Holy Month of Ramadan, wishing them with all success and blessing.

The program of the evening included Q and A competitions and entertaining programs prepared by the students which won appreciation from the attendees and gave the evening an atmosphere of fun and joy. At the end of the evening, the General Consul thanked the students for attending and hoped that everyone had a great evening and congratulated the students of Eid Al Fitr in advance, and urged the students to make the effort and perseverance in their studies.
