Boost to Oman-Australia bilateral relations- Jameel bin Ali bin Sultan, Chairman of the Joint Oman Australia Business Council met yesterday with Tim Holding, Shadow Minister for Finance and Trade and Member of the Parliament of the Australian state of Victoria.
The meeting discussed the economic relations between the two countries and reviewed the available trade opportunities, besides talking about the Sultanate’s economic potential and the progress being witnessed by the business sector in the Sultanate.
Jameel stressed the importance of activating the trade and economic relations between the representatives of the private sector in the Sultanate and Australia.
The Shadow Minister for Finance and Trade and Member of the Parliament of the Australian state of Victoria expressed his delight for visiting the Sultanate and reviewing closely the economic potentials.
He also commended the progress being witnessed in the Sultanate which reflects the growth in the Omani economy that avails a conducive environment for bilateral relations between businessmen in the two countries.
During the meeting, the Australian guest was briefed on Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and its role in serving all trade and industrial sectors.
