Extending your scholarship
Documents required
- A letter of request explaining the reason(s) for extending the scholarship.
- A letter from the University stating the reason(s) for your request and the expected graduation date.
Changing your course
Documents required
- A letter of request explaining the reason(s) you want to change your course and stating the name of the new course.
- A letter from the University supporting your request to change your course.
- A new offer letter from the university stating the name of the new course, starting time and expected graduation date.
- A letter from the University stating if you will get an exemption for the subject you studied.
Changing your specialization
Documents required
- A letter of request explaining the reason(s) you want to change your specialization and stating the name of the new specialization.
- A letter from the University supporting your request to change your specialization.
- A new offer letter from the university stating the name of the new specialization, starting time and expected graduation date.
- A letter from the University stating if you will get an exemption for the subject you studied.
Changing your University
Documents required
- A letter of request explaining the reason(s) you want to change your university and stating the name of the university intending to go to.
- A new offer letter from the university you intending to go to stating the expected graduation date.
- A letter from the University stating if you will get an exemption for the subject you studied.
- A release letter from the university you study in if you did not complete one year.
Applying for scholarship
Documents required
- A letter of request explaining the reason(s) you want to apply for scholarship and type of scholarship.
- A copy of your academic transcripts or academic progress report.
- A letter from the university stating the expected graduation date.
Participating in seminars, conferences and work shops
Documents required
- A letter of request explaining the type of the program and its name.
- A letter from the university stating the program is compulsory or part of your course and the cost of the program and explains if the university will provide you with any financial support. .
Deferring your studies
Documents required
- A letter of request explaining the reason(s) you want to defer your studies and for how long.
- Documents that support your request.
- An approval letter from the university to defer your studies.
Certifying Graduation Certificates
Documents required
- A copy of your certificates.
- An authorization letter signed by you.
- Documents should be sent by either fax or email to the Consulate.
Reimbursing for expenses
Documents required
- Original invoice/receipt which should be posted to the Consulate of Oman.
- A memo from the student explaining the reasons of the receipt/invoice and the period.
Cargo allowance
Documents required
- A letter or e-mail from the student requesting the cargo allowances.
- A letter from the university stating expected completion date.
