Applicants who wish to obtain a Police Clearance from the Sultanate of Oman should fulfil the following requirements and post to the Consulate-General of the Sultanate of Oman in Melbourne:

• A letter of request
• Four passport size photos (colour & recent)
• Original finger prints from each finger on both hands, then a print of all fingers on the one hand at the same time for both hands. Finger prints can be obtained from local police, which later have to be authenticated from the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade in any one of the Australian State Capital cities
• A copy of your passport including a copy of the visa page
• Enclose a prepaid self-addressed return envelope
• Enclose a ‘Registered Post International’ envelope b4 (353 mm × 250 mm)
• Enclose US$10 - only US Dollars are acceptable
• Enclose an Australian money order of $30 payable to the Consulate-General of the Sultanate of Oman
