Sultanate attracts huge investments -3rd Economic Forum — The deliberations of the Third Oman Economic Forum began at Al Bustan Palace Hotel yesterday under the auspices of His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tareq al Said.

Airport expansion project on track -The Muscat International Airport expansion project, the largest project ever to be undertaken in the history of the Sultanate aiming at an initial capacity of 12 million annual passengers, is fast progressing towards the target of April 2014.

32,400 college seats -The number of seats expected for this academic year (2012/2013) in various higher education colleges will be 32,400, which represents an increase of 14 per cent compared with that in 2011/2012.
